PTSD, Jesus and YOU: Healing PTSD, Shea’s Story
Shea Watson first fought battles of abuse and then he chose to fight for his country. Diagnosed with PTSD in 1997 by the US Army, Shea spent two years in the hospital when the trauma finally demanded his attention. In a Wednesdays With Watson first, this episode is part of a podcast crossover event, but in this episode, Shea tells us what Jesus did.
This is a special podcast crossover event, as Amy joins forces with The Pantry Podcast, of which Shea Watson is one of the curators. He is joined by his wife as well as the curator of The Spiritual Life and Leadership podcast. As Shea shares his story and answers hard questions, Michelle and Pastor Markus Watson do the same.
I Peter 2:9 “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, that you may be able to declare the praises of the One that called you out of darkness into marvelous light.”
This episode is hopeful, it is fun, but there is no doubt that it addresses identity and it addresses trauma as well as PTSD.
